Mom & Sis are back!

YEAAAAA! Haha as per the title.
Kinda strange to have this reaction when normally I'd be like... OMG YESH FREEDOM! =P
Went out to have dinner with them, and it was a nice dinner at this Chinese restaurant in Clementi! Practically like buffet... got beef, roast pork and roast duck, summore got abalone =P Cost heck a lot oso la... $130 for 4 ppl >.< Super full *burp~* XD A proper CNY dinner at last :)

Mm but it's really nice to have them back. I really pity those who say "heck yea i hit my parents!", or steal from their parents and stuff... Either they really don't understand their parents/feel the love, or they have horrible parents, which is just really sad either way (OR is inexclusive here :P). For me my relationship with my parents is really important. They are people who are truly with me, all the way, regardless of my flaws. Seriously, thank God for them.

Oh wanted to share 2 things:
1) If you're up for a scare, click on this link: http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/detail.nhn?titleId=350217&no=31&weekday=tu
It's omg-holyshitz scary =P

2) Girls on Singaporean Guys: Chivalry is dead.
******************************Oh. RANT WARNING****************************

This made me go like "wut?" I sincerely hope the opening title of "miscommunication" is actually the true message of this vid, cuz i think guys, or at least the guys i know and thus would like to speak for here, are totally wronged and misunderstood should they be represented by the vid's depiction of guys.

- Give wrong signals => Bad communicators?
False. It probably just means you.don't.get.the.signals. Communication is a 2 way thing. It may be that the guy is incapable of expressing himself properly, but it is just as true, and probably way more likely, that the girl is just incapable of reading his signals as he intended. Or if incapability is a strong word, I'll rephrase that. The girl doesn't understand the guy, or at least the way he expresses himself.

- Expecting non-verbal cues to be understood as if they were spoken is just stupid. Contrary to popular belief, guys too have feelings. They too have unspoken hopes. It's just that they don't go on the girl's case when it doesn't happen. Of course not, cuz anything not explicitly said can't be expected of anyone.

- Say one thing mean another? Say one thing do another? "Hi Kettle! You're black!"
Close to classic case of said symptom. huh.

- I don't know what kind of crowd they're hanging with, but the guys I know treat their gfs like treasures, and I hold my fair share of doors.

There's a recent movie, "那些年我们一起追的女孩", or "You are the apple of my eye", that was really hot and popular. If you're a girl and you liked it, try asking a guy what he sees in the movie. I'm fairly certain you'll see that in truth, guys and girls express themselves in different ways, and understand things in different ways. Saying chivalry is dead is just a ridiculous blanket statement.
******************************End of Rant*******************************

In any case, here's a woman that agrees that If Chivalry is Dead, Women Killed It.

To end off, here's a funny vid abt girls. Pls watch dis even if you didn't read the rant. Damn hilarious:
Cya!
